Student Project-Based Space Vector Modulation Technique for Power Electronics Laboratory

Two-level DC/AC inverter topologies are widely used for low voltage and high applications in power systems industrial areas. Space Vector Modulation (SVM) is a popular Pulse-Width technique controlling the inverters providing efficient energy conversion from DC sources. However, of SVM-based studies limited Power Electronics Laboratory (PEL) due to vital risks associated with applications, it not easily learned through mathematical analysis visual learning without implementation by undergraduate students. A simulation experimental setup an SVM-controlled two-level, three-phase was presented this study students learn its basics PEL. Several programs were simulate classroom environment design circuit microcontroller-based printed board PEL experiments. The two case given. In results, output waveforms compared show validation results.
